Experience shows that gas engines running in power generation applications have a longer life than a diesel engine. The engine runs quieter, smoother (less vibration) and cleaner. All of this results in an engine that requires less troubleshooting, when maintained correctly according to our specified manual instructions. Running features experienced in normal operations are:
- Engine oil three times longer than the diesel engine
- Oil filters last longer
- The abrasive material in diesel fuel is not in gas. In this instance, Pistons, Rings and liners last longer
- All of this is subject to keeping to the maintenance schedule set out in the Gastech manual that is supplied with the units.
Maintenance Program
The following services are some of what is offered in our package of engine conversion systems. Each project is designed and packaged according to the needs of our clientele.
There is no standard project proposal except only what is necessary and relevant to the project. Customer requirements are paramount.
